Newcastle United are currently in talks with fellow Premier League side Liverpool to sign winger Sheyi Ojo this summer, according to a reliable journalist.
Newcastle Chronicle reporter Lee Ryder claimed on his personal Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon that the newly-promoted Premier League side are holding discussions with the Merseyside club to sign the 20-year-old forward on a loan deal.

This follows up from the recent story in the Mirror which reported that the Magpies were interested in signing the youngster but faced competition from fellow Premier League side Burnley.
Newcastle fans will be delighted by the news as their club have been very quiet in the transfer market so far, only completing the signing of Christian Atsu from Premier League champions Chelsea.
Ojo demonstrated his qualities on the international stage this summer as he was involved in the England Under-20 squad which lifted the World Cup trophy in South Korea.
The youngster featured in five matches throughout the tournament and he proved to be the perfect impact substitute on numerous occasions especially in the semi-final against Italy where produced an assist.
The winger was unable to hold down a regular place with the Liverpool first-team last season as he only featured in two matches.
Ojo’s current contract at Anfield runs out in 2020.
