Ronald Koeman should make room for Sandro Ramirez by offloading three of Everton’s attackers that are currently on the fringes of first-team football at Goodison Park.

Times journalist Oliver Kay revealed on his personal Twitter account that a deal to sign Malaga forward Ramirez is “almost done” as the Toffees push on with their summer recruitment drive.

Ramirez, 21, is said to have caught the eye of Koeman after scoring 16 goals in 31 outings for the La Liga outfit this season, as well as providing five assists in a side that finished 11th in Spain’s top tier.

The three-time Spain Under-21 international is expected to become Everton’s third signing, after the Toffees confirmed deals for Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen.

With a deal said to be close, a number of Everton attackers will be considering their futures at Goodison Park as Ramirez is expected to be brought in to act as back-up to Belgium international Romelu Lukaku next season.

This Is FutbolĀ considers the future of three Everton strikers that could now leave following the impending signing of the former Barcelona striker.
