Real Madrid are considering a last-minute move for Everton summer target Sandro Ramirez, according to Marca.

The Spanish newspaper claims the La Liga champions are currently scouting the 21-year-old striker at the ongoing Under-21 European Championships in Poland.

It is understood that Madrid are concerned that they might need to buy an attacking player this summer as talisman Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told the club that he wants to leave and striker Alvaro Morata is being linked with a move to Manchester United.

The report claims that the Spaniard has yet to put pen to paper on a deal with Premier League side Everton so there is still an opportunity for Madrid to pay his release clause of £5.2million and hijack the deal.

This follows up from the story in the Liverpool Echo which claimed that Sandro had already passed a medical at the Merseyside club and a deal was set to be completed this Thursday.

Sandro enjoyed a successful debut campaign with La Liga side Malaga, scoring 16 goals and providing five assists in 31 appearances in all competitions last season.

The striker has also delivered the goods during the tournament in Poland as he scored for the Spain Under-21 national team in the 3-1 victory against Portugal.

The Spaniard’s contract with Malaga expires in the summer of 2019.
