Lukaku reaches an agreement with other club

Everton star Romelu Lukaku has revealed he has reached “an agreement” with another club, according to Sky Sports.

The 24-year-old Toffees forward has been regularly linked with a move away from the Merseyside club this summer with his contract entering it’s final two years.

A return to former club Chelsea has been the most heavily speculated, while Premier League giants Manchester United have also been linked with a move to the Belgian star.

Now, Sky Sports have revealed on their official Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon that the striker has told that he has made an agreement with “another club.”

Everton were of course keen to ensure that Lukaku remained at the club beyond this summer and it was reported by the Telegraph in March that he had rejected a new £140,000-a-week deal.

The powerful forward has been at Everton since joining in an initial loan deal in 2013 before the Toffees made him their club-record signing a year later in a £28million deal from Chelsea.

He has gone on to play 166 times for the club in total, scoring 87 goals and last season he finished as the Premier League’s second top scorer with 25 strikes from 37 league matches.

It is likely Everton will now be scouring the summer market for a replacement to their influential forward.
