Strong, athletic and an ability to find the back of the net. Those are the skills Marko Arnautovic possesses.
The 28-year-old attacker has been a strong performer out on the left-hand side of attack for Stoke City in recent seasons and he now needs a step up in his career.
A move to Everton would suit the versatile attacker, who can also play on the right-hand side of attack and through the middle.
Ronald Koeman’s side need strength in depth as they prepare for a gruelling 2017/18 campaign which could involve a lot of Europa League football.
Adding someone of Arnautovic’s quality to their ranks makes the Everton squad stronger which would benefit them in the long-term.
Mark Hughes’ side may want a big-money fee for one of their key attackers but Arnautovic could be worth the money considering what he can bring to the table.
He has the ability to get past defenders from out wide, use his strength to drive through the final third and more importantly he has an eye for goal.
In 35 matches in all competitions this season, Arnautovic scored seven goals and provided six assists for his team, who finished outside of the top ten.
Now Everton should look to sign the Austria international, who doesn’t just bring quality to the table but a vast amount of experience.
