Everton are close to completing the signing of Malaga forward Sandro Ramirez – and fans on Twitter are delighted with the news.
Daily Mail reporter Dominic King has claimed on his personal Twitter account that the Toffees will confirm Ramirez’ transfer within the next 48 hours.
The 21-year-old is set to become Ronald Koeman’s third summer signing after he captured goalkeeper Jordan Pickford from Sunderland and midfielder Davy Klaassen from Ajax.
Everton will enter the qualifying stages of the Europa League next season and if they qualify they will most likely encounter a gruelling campaign.
As a result, Koeman, who guided the club to a top-seven finish last term, is looking to help his side edge closer to the Champions League places within the next few seasons.
The Everton supporters were pretty pleased that Ramirez is one of the players who will be tasked with that job.
One Toffees fan was delighted that his team were making another signing within the space of the week as he described it as a “surreal” moment.
Ramirez scored 14 goals for Malaga during the 2016/17 season, helping the Spanish club secure a bottom half finish in the table.
The former Barcelona academy product is set to work under a manager that is regarded as a club legend at the Nou Camp added with the fact that he has worked wonders at Southampton and Everton in recent seasons.

I am just not used to the words "another signing" and "Everton" being used in the same sentence. This is surreal.
