Everton are weighing up a double swoop for Burnley duo Michael Keane and Andre Gray, according to a Burnley Express report.

The newspaper claims the Toffees are “set to firm up their interest” in the Gray, who is on manager Ronald Koeman’s radar after a decent 2016-17 campaign.

It is said any offer for Gray could be accompanied by an move for Keane, as Everton currently lead the race to sign him.

The report states Burnley are desperate to hold onto the pair for another season, and they are even ready to allow them to leave for free next summer when their contracts expire.

James McCarthy and Oumar Niasse are both mentioned by the newspaper as potential options for a swap deal, which would see them move to Turf Moor, with Gray and Keane arriving at Goodison Park in their place.

This comes after the Mirror reported that Everton had made a £10million approach for Gray, while the Daily Mail claimed McCarthy had been made available for a part-exchange deal for Keane.

Gray, 25, was a mainstay of Burnley’s forward line last term, scoring 10 goals in 36 league and cup games.

Keane, 24, was also a key figure in the Claret and Blue’s team, making 39 appearances in all competitions.

The former Manchester United centre-back was even rewarded with a senior England call-up for his efforts, and he has since been capped twice.
