Cesc Fabregas looks set to stay at Stamford Bridge despite reports that midfielder Corentin Tolisso could be making a move to Chelsea this summer, according to Football London.

The website claims that Lyon midfielder Tolisso could be joining Antonio Conte’s squad during the summer transfer window.

Football London report that the Frenchman will be demanding a significant fee, and it was initially thought that the 22-year-old could jeopardise current central midfielder Cesc Fabregas’s role in the squad.

The report confirms that despite the questions marks surrounding the Spaniard’s future he looks increasingly likely to stay after he proved himself to be a valuable member of the squad during Chelsea’s Premier League title campaign.

The former-Arsenal captain scored seven goals and provided 15 assists for Chelsea during his 38 appearances for the club during all competitions last season.

Fellow midfielder Tolisso also has a valuable season behind him after he netted 14 goals and seven assists during his staggering 47 appearances for Lyon.

Signing Tolisso and retaining Fabregas will provide boss Antonio Conte with options, but could spell the end for Nemanja Matic, who didn’t enjoy the best of seasons at Stamford Bridge.
