Chelsea are ready to sell Loic Remy for a cut-price fee this summer, according to a report in the Sun.
The newspaper claims the 30-year-old striker has returned to the Blues after a woeful spell on loan at Crystal Palace last season, but he is keen to move on this summer in a bid to reignite his career.
It is said the Frenchman still has a year left on his £80,000-a-week contract, but he is not a part of Chelsea manager Antonio Conte’s first-team plans, despite the fact the club paid £8.5million to sign him from QPR just three years ago.
The report states Marseille could be interested in signing the powerful front man, although he would need to take a significant wage cut for a deal to take place.
The 30-year-old only featured eight times for Palace last term, and he failed to find the net.
In fact the last time Remy scored a goal in the league was in December 2015, when Chelsea lost 2-1 to Leicester.
Since signing for the Blues in the summer of 2014, Remy has had a frustrating time in West London and has only made 47 appearances across all competitions.
Remy is primarily an out-and-out striker, but he is also comfortable on either wing.
He has been capped on 31 occasions by France, but he has not featured since the 3-0 friendly win over Armenia in October 2014.
