MLS side LA Galaxy are interested in signing Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina in the summer transfer window, according to Don Balon.

The Spanish outlet claims that the 28-year-old goalkeeper is looking to leave the North London club in order to get more first-team opportunities.

The Colombian has reportedly admitted that he has not received any concrete offers but the MLS team have made the goalkeeper one of the main summer targets.

This story follows up from the report in Fanatik which claimed that Ospina is set to undergo a medical with Turkish giants Fenerbahce later this week.

Although the Colombia international spent the majority of the campaign watching on from the sidelines, he was chosen to be Arsenal’s number one throughout the cup competitions.

Ospina appeared in all eight of Arsenal’s Champions League games and he featured in all but two of their FA Cup matches.

The Colombian was selected to be the man between the sticks for the FA Cup final against Chelsea where the Gunners came out on top and won 2-1.

Ospina only featured in two Premier League matches – the 3-1 defeat against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns and the 2-2 draw against Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium.

The Colombian goalkeeper’s contract at Arsenal expires in the summer of 2019.
