Spanish side Barcelona are favourites to sign Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin, according to the latest betting odds.

Leading bookmaker Sky Bet have priced the European giants at 6/4 to sign the 22-year-old before September 3, with Manchester City priced as big outsiders at 33/1.

Right-back Bellerin came through the youth levels at his hometown club of Barcelona before he made a 2011 summer switch to Arsenal.

Upon his arrival to England, he continued to play at youth level before Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger handed the then-teenager his senior debut during a League Cup encounter against West Brom in 2013.

Since then, Bellerin has become a regular member of Wenger’s side, playing 115 games in all competitions, scoring four goals and supplying 14 assists.

Bellerin recently concluded the season by playing 42 matches in all competitions, scoring one goal added with his five assists.

Despite ending the Premier League season in a disappointing fashion, where the Gunners finished outside of the top four, Bellerin did help his team win the 2016 FA Cup.

He played the full match against Chelsea at Wembley, with Wenger opting to utilise the versatile player in a wing-back role.

At this moment in time, Bellerin has six years left on his current deal at the Emirates Stadium and if he were to make a switch back to Spain then he would join a Barcelona team that failed to win the La Liga title this term.
