Arsenal are firm favourites to land Barcelona attacking midfielder Arda Turan, according to the latest bookmaker odds.
This comes after a Haberturk report claimed that Arsenal had reached an agreement with Turan over a summer deal, although no formal offer has been made.
Sky Bet have priced the North London side at 6/4 to secure the signature of the 30-year-old Turkey international in the summer transfer window.
Arsene Wenger’s side are currently ahead of a host of top European clubs with Serie A giants Inter Milan placed at 6/1 and Ligue 1 champions Monaco at 16/1.
The Turkish midfielder has been unable to make his mark since joining the Catalan giants from fellow La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid in 2015.
Turan was unable to make his debut for the club until January 2016 as Barcelona were being punished with a transfer ban during that period.
Barcelona are blessed with an array of attacking talent with the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez leading the line on a weekly basis at the Camp Nou.
This has meant that the midfielder has spent the majority of his Barcelona career watching on from the sidelines and he has only been given a change on the pitch when one of the front three has been injured or suspended.
Turan only made a total of 18 La Liga appearances last season but he still managed to contribute with three goals and three assists.
