Leeds United fans have reacted with excitement and positivity on social media after a recent report claimed that the Yorkshire club are interested in signing HD Huesca attacking midfielder Samuel Saiz this summer.
The 26-year-old midfielder’s agent recently spoke to the Yorkshire Evening Post and stated that the Championship side have shown a firm interest in signing the Spaniard and he also confirmed that the player is open to a move to England.
However, Leeds will face competition for his signature from a number of La Liga teams.
Saiz was one of the star performers for the Spanish second tier side last season and his contribution helped the club reach the playoffs.
The Leeds supporters took to social media to express their view on the potential deal and it is clear that they are desperate to watch the Spaniard in action at Elland Road next season.

The attacking midfielder featured in 44 matches in all competitions last season and he contributed with 12 goals and nine assists.
The Spaniard has also experienced playing with the top clubs in Spain as he enjoyed spells with the Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid youth teams during the early stages of his career.
Saiz could potentially be the second summer signing of the Thomas Christiansen era with Polish midfielder Mateusz Klich already completing a move to Elland Road.
