Everton manager Ronald Koeman should really consider making a move for Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj in the summer transfer window.

The Times recently reported that Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho no longer sees a future for the 22-year-old at Old Trafford and he is willing to let him leave for a fee between £10million and £15million.

In this current market, paying £15million for a player who has experienced Champions League football at such a young age should not be considered as a gamble.

Especially when the rising star in question has a touch of genius to his game, as Januzaj undoubtedly has.

Sure, the 22-year-old has experienced two really poor loan spells away at Sunderland and Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund where he failed to show his full potential.

The Belgian forward seems like the type of player who constantly needs to be reassured about his ability and this is why a permanent move rather than a loan would bring the best out of him as he would not feel the pressure to constantly impress his manager.

The youngster demonstrated that he has the capabilities to perform on the big stage during his breakthrough season at Old Trafford during the 2013-14 campaign.

Ronald Koeman has shown that he can get the best out of young talent during his first season in charge at Goodison Park with players such as Tom Davies excelling for the Merseyside club.

Everton are going to need a huge squad in order to cope with the demands of Europa League football next season and Januzaj would be a great addition and he should adapt quickly with fellow Belgians Romelu Lukaku and Kevin Mirallas there to help him.

It would be a good move for the player himself as he could try and make a case to be selected for the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia after he was overlooked for the European Championships in France last year.

The Belgian has the potential to become a true fan favourite at Goodison Park with his direct style of football and the ability to glide past defenders.
