Leeds should raid Monk’s Middlesbrough for three players

|

Adam Clayton

Clayton, 28, was an integral member of Middlesbrough’s Premier League fight against relegation and impressed in the middle of the park with a passionate determination that was unrivalled by many of the Boro side.

A Man City youth player, Clayton left Leeds back in 2012 to join Huddersfield after being forced out of the club and Andrea Radrizzani’s new manager should do all he can to re-sign the six-time England Under-20 international.

Clayton would add grit and fight to the Leeds midfield, as well as intricate array of passing that could see him act as a playmaker from deep and orchestrate the Whites’ promotion push.
