Jack Grealish has described his Aston Villa teammate Alan Hutton as a “loud” figure in the dressing room.

The 21-year-old was describing the experienced right-back in the ‘Emoji Game’ for the club’s official Twitter account and also revealed that Hutton makes him laugh in the changing rooms.

Former Scotland international Hutton is one of the longest serving players at Villa having joined the club from Tottenham in 2011.

Hutton was part of the club’s humiliating relegation from the Premier League in 2016 and their recent Championship campaign which resulted in them finishing in the bottom half of the table.

Nonetheless, when taking part in the ‘Emjoi Game’ Grealish used the laughing emoji to describe Hutton, whilst the likes of Henri Lansbury believe he is a cool character.

“I’ll go for the laughing one because he is always making me laugh,” said Grealish as posted by the club’s official Twitter account. “He’s loud in the changing room and good to have around.”

Hutton is known for his hard tackling and aggressive style of play on the field, therefore, it is no surprise that he is a loud figure in the dressing room.

The former Spurs man was a regular feature under manager Steve Bruce last season, playing 34 league games, helping his team record 11 clean sheets.

Ahead of the new campaign, Hutton will battle the likes of James Bree and Ritchie De Laet for a first-team spot, with the latter recovering from an ankle injury which ended his season last September.
