Tottenham and Liverpool are both interested in PSV right-back Santiago Arias, according to AS Colombia.

The Colombian news outlet claims that the 25-year-old is on the shortlist of the two Premier League rivals after admitting that he is looking for a new challenge outside of the Dutch Eredivise club.

Arias has been on the books at PSV since 2013 and is desperate for a change of scenery after winning two league titles.

“I completed my cycle in PSV and I want to have new challenges,” said the defender, as quoted by AS Colombia.

Tottenham could be looking at Arias due to Kyle Walker’s insistence upon leaving North London in the near future with Manchester City and Manchester United circling the England international.

Kieran Trippier is Mauricio Pochettino’s other right-back option and has been impressive in the last few fixtures of the campaign as Walker was shifted out of the first-team due to a drop in form and possible doubts about his commitment to the side.

Liverpool aren’t exactly blessed in the full-back slots with Nathaniel Clyne being the only senior member of the squad that can play on the right side of defence.

Arias has been in good form for PSV this term, scoring two goals and supplying six assists in 34 appearances across all competitions.

He managed to find the net in the Champions League group stage clash with Bayern Munich, only to see his side lose 2-1 to the Bundesliga champions.

The wantaway full-back has 31 international caps for Colombia and has had previous spells at La Equidad and Sporting CP.
