Celtic are eyeing Aberdeen winger Jonny Hayes after his stunning display in Saturday’s Scottish Cup final win, according to the Daily Mail.

The Hoops earned a 2-1 victory at Hampden with goals from Stuart Armstrong and Tom Rogic cancelling out an early gal from Hayes after putting the Dons 1-0 up within the first 10 minutes.

It is however detailed in the Mail that Championship club Birmingham are casting their eye over the attacker with manager Harry Redknapp running the rule over Hayes during the match.

Second tier rivals Cardiff are also said to be interested in the two-time capped international, who played a huge rule in helping Aberdeen to a runners-up placing in the Premiership last  season.

Hayes struck 11 goals and provided a stunning 24 assists in 44 matches in all competitions last season.

It is felt that the right-winger would have caught the eye of manager Brendan Rodgers with the amount of goals he has been able to set-up in the last campaign.

Additionally, right-winger Patrick Roberts has returned to Premier League side Manchester City following the end of his loan deal and it is believed that Rodgers will now be looking for his replacement as he aims to make progress in Europe next season.
