Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to rave about Henrik Larsson’s hat-trick in the Henrik’s Heroes versus Lubo’s Legends charity game at Parkhead on Sunday.

Henrik’s Heroes ran out 5-2 winners as their captain, Larsson, rolled back the years to bag himself a fine first-half hat-trick.

Stylian Petrov and Harald Brattbakk also netted for the Heroes, while Kris Commons and captain Lubo Moravcik scored for the Legends.

Larsson, 45, is a legend at Parkhead having scored 242 goals in 313 league and cup games at the club, in a seven-year spell in Glasgow.

The 104-time Sweden international was part of four Scottish Premiership winning sides, and also won two Scottish Cups and two Scottish League Cups while at the club.

The Parkhead faithful were delighted to see his finishing instinct has not waned after he starred in the charity match.

The charity match came just a day after the Hoops secured a historic treble by beating Aberdeen 2-1 at Hampden to win the Scottish Cup, having already wrapped up the Scottish Premiership title and the Scottish League cup earlier in the season.

It was only the fourth treble in the club’s history, and to make it even more impressive they completed the entire 2016/17 domestic campaign unbeaten.
