West Ham are favourites to sign Southampton playmaker Dusan Tadic, according to the latest betting odds.

Leading bookmaker Sky Bet have priced the 28-year-old at 5/2 to make a switch to the London Stadium ahead of Newcastle who are priced as outsiders at 12/1.

The Premier League duo are the only two teams in the betting running for the Serbian international’s signature, who has three-years left on his current deal at St Mary’s.

Slaven Bilic will no doubt want to add more quality to his squad after a disappointing campaign which saw them flirt with relegation and struggle to perform at their new stadium.

By contrast, outsiders Newcastle recently earned promotion to the Premier League after winning the Championship title under the stewardship of Rafa Benitez.

Versatile attacker Tadic joined Southampton in 2014 when the Saints made £10million for his services to Dutch outfit FC Twente.

Since moving to England, Tadic has played 98 league matches for the Hampshire club, scoring 15 goals and supplying 27 assists.

This season, under Claude Puel, Tadic played 44 matches in all competitions, scoring three goals and providing eight assists for his team.

Those games include five encounters in the Europa League, where he provided one assist as his side were knocked out of the group stages.

If Tadic were to join the Hammers this summer then he would battle the likes of Manuel Lanzini and Robert Snodgrass for a first-team spot, with the latter joining the club in January.
