Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen sent the Spurs fans into a complete frenzy on social media after scoring for the Dutch national team in Wednesday’s friendly match against Morocco.

The 22-year-old forward scored the winning goal as the Netherlands beat Morocco 2-1 at the Stade Adrar.

It is the third goal that he has scored for his country this season following strikes against England and Belarus.

Despite not finding himself on the scoresheet for Tottenham on a regular basis this season, Tottenham fans have continued to support the Dutch striker and many took to social media to congratulate Janssen for his match winner.

Janssen is likely to be involved in the Netherlands upcoming friendly match against the Ivory Coast on 4 June before welcoming Luxembourg to the De Kuip stadium in Rotterdam on 9 June in a vital World Cup qualifier.

The Dutch striker failed to set the Premier League alight in his first season in England as 20 out of his 27 league appearances came from the substitutes’ bench.

Janssen only scored two Premier League goals this season and his first league goal from open play came in Tottenham’s emphatic 4-0 win over Bournemouth at White Hart Lane in April.
