Tottenham fans have provided mixed views to Moussa Sissoko’s Twitter message as the club prepared for their end of season trip to Hong Kong.

Spurs are set to play a friendly match against Kitchee SC in Seoul on Friday with manager Mauricio Pochettino naming a strong squad for the one-off friendly match.

The north London club landed in Hong Kong on Tuesday and ahead of that match Sissoko posted this simple message.

“Hong Kong,” said Sissoko, sat alongside teammate Victor Wanyama with an emoji of an aeroplane departing.

Sissoko joined Tottenham last summer when he made a £30million switch from Newcastle, who had just suffered relegation into the Championship.

During his debut campaign, he struggled for form and consistency as he failed to find the back of the net during his 34 matches.

Certain sections of the Tottenham support told Sissoko to ignore the haters and that he will be a great player for the club next season.

However, one fan stated ‘don’t come back’ as some supporters were not pleased with the manner in which he performed for the club this season.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Over the course of the season, Sissoko played 34 games in all competitions, where he only managed to supply four assists.

Prior to joining Spurs, Sissoko had suffered relegation with Newcastle, who have since made a return to the top tier of English football after winning the Championship title.

During that summer, he went on to represent France at Euro 2016, with his home country reaching the finals in Paris.

Despite his team losing out to Portugal, Sissoko put on an impressive display in the finals as many fans and ex-players think that may have inflated his transfer fee.

Nonetheless, he will be looking to make his mark next season and prove his doubters wrong as Spurs look to mount another title challenge.

They will be playing all their home matches at Wembley with the club preparing to move into their new stadium for the start of the 2018/19 campaign.
