Young midfielder Charlie Owens has completed a move to Championship outfit QPR after being released by Tottenham.
The 19-year-old midfielder was told that his contract at White Hart Lane would not be renewed after three years with the north London giants, where he was a prominent member of their reserve side.
Second-tier QPR announced on their official website that they had taken advantage of Owen’s availability by signing the highly-rated midfielder on a 12-month deal and he has now arrived from Spurs.

Owens went on trial at Loftus Road towards the end of the season, making five appearances for the R’s reserve side and has now earned a year-long permanent deal after impressing in Paul Hall’s Under-23 side.
Known for his combative nature in between the defence and midfield, Owens made 13 Premier League 2 appearances for Spurs’ second string this season.
Owens even received his marching orders back in November against north London rivals Arsenal in a 2-0 loss to the Gunners’ reserve side.
The four-time Northern Ireland Under-19 international, who can also play at centre-back, had failed to make a single senior appearance in Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
That saw him fail to earn a permanent deal, with the Argentinian manager giving preference to the likes of Eric Dier, Victor Wanyama, Harry Winks and Moussa Dembele.
