Everton are the favourites to sign Burnley striker Andre Gray this summer, according to the latest bookmakers’ odds.

Sky Bet have priced the Toffees at just 2/1 to sign the 25-year-old uncapped forward, who is at evens to remain with Sean Dyche’s Clarets.

However, Ronald Koeman’s side are not the only Premier League side said to be in the running to sign Burnley’s number seven, with Newcastle second favourites at a slightly larger 3/1 to pen Gray’s signature.

Way out at 16/1 are West Ham, while the Hammers’ London rivals Tottenham are at a huge 20/1 to sign the Wolverhampton-born forward this summer.

Everton are likely to be in the market for a new striker this summer in order to provide competition for Romelu Lukaku, or even replace the Belgium international.

Gray, who has had spells with Luton Town, Brentford and Shrewsbury Town throughout his career, has shone for Burnley this season as the Lancashire outfit avoided a Premier League relegation dog fight.

Appearing 36 times in all competitions for Burnley this season, the man mountain, whose physicality and power made him a handful for defences, found the back of the net 10 times against the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Crystal Palace as well as a hat-trick against Sunderland.

Known for his pace, Gray’s tenacious style of spearheading the attack has seen him gain plaudits for his displays in England’s top flight this season, as he formed a strong partnership with target man Sam Vokes.

It remains to be seen if Gray will be at Burnley come the start of the 2017-18 Premier League season, with only 12 months remaining on his current contract at Turf Moor.
