Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina is in “advanced talks” to join Fenerbahce, according to a Mirror report.

The newspaper claims the 28-year-old will start for the Gunners in Saturday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea but is still set to make a £5million switch to the Turkish giants this summer.

The Colombian shot-stopper has made 13 appearances for the Gunners this term, with only two  of them coming in the Premier League.

He has been used exclusively as Wenger’s cup goalkeeper, and he played in all eight of their Champions League matches this campaign, conceding 16 goals.

Ospina arrived at the Emirates in the summer of 2014 following a £3.4million move from French side Nice, but he has failed to lock down the number one spot.

In his three seasons at the club he has made 48 league and cup appearances, keeping 18 clean sheets.

However, Arsene Wenger has made a shock decision to start the 76-time Colombia international in Saturday’s cup final against Chelsea.

It means Cech will miss the chance to face his former club at Wembley, despite playing in the semi-final win over Manchester City.

If the Gunners can beat Chelsea on Saturday they will clinch their 13th FA Cup, and their third in four years.

However if the Blues claim victory, they will secure a double, having already won the Premier League this term.
