Gary Neville believes that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will keep key men Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Mauricio Pochettino at the club over the next few years.

Spurs are fast becoming a top side in England and have consolidated second in the Premier League table this season.

The north London club are set for a new 61,000 seater ground and said their farewells to White Hart Lane against Manchester United on Sunday, before making a temporary switch to Wembley Stadium.

However, there are concerns they could lose the star men that have helped them develop in recent years.

English pair Kane and Alli have been influential on the pitch by being the club’s main goal threats and are both expected to receive a lot of attention in the transfer window.

Meanwhile, highly rated Argentinian manager Pochettino has created a formidable squad and is being eyed by some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Neville insists that Levy will refuse to let any of their key figures depart as he prepares for a bright Spurs future at their new ground.

“I think they have to hang on to two or three players,” he said on the Gary Neville podcast. “Dele Alli and Harry Kane have to stay at this football club in the next 18 months, two years.

“The message when they go back to White Hart Lane is that they want people to pay more money to fill that stadium every single week. The third person they need to keep is the manager because he is an absolutely fantastic manager.”

He added: “I think those three are key going into that new stadium and I think it’s impossible that Daniel Levy will send a message to the fans and the football club that we are retreating. They have to keep those players, they will keep those players.”

Spurs have already experienced the struggle of recovering from selling your best player as they found out when Gareth Bale completed a sensational £85million deal.

They will be keen to avoid the same fate this time around by keeping hold of star men Alli and Kane, who have scored a combined 49 goals this season across all competitions.

The Daily Mirror have reported that Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are eyeing a move for attacking midfielder Alli after the 21-year-old’s meteoric rise.
