West Ham want to sign Lazar Markovic.
According to a report in The Sun the Liverpool midfielder is in the thoughts of Slaven Bilic after impressing for Hull against the Hammers at the weekend.
Markovic is on a season long loan at Hull and has been informed that he doesn’t feature in Jurgen Klopp’s Anfield plans.
The 23-year-old is on his third loan deal since joining Liverpool in 2014 in a £20m deal from Benfica.
Liverpool will be looking to get at least £15m back for the Serbian who has been a regular in the Hull side since January.
West Ham are expected to be big players in the summer transfer market as Bilic attempts to put together a squad that is familiar with playing at the London Stadium.
The flair of Markovic could go some way towards replacing the skills of Dimitri Payet who quit in January for Marseille after a major fall out with the club.
