Spurs are weighing up a move for Oguzhan Ozyakup.
According to a report on talkSPORT the Besiktas midfielder has been watched in recent weeks with the Turkish side expected to cash in during the summer.
Ozyakup is in his fifth season with Besiktas after failing to make any impact as a teenager at Arsenal but that won’t put Spurs off from making a bid.
The Dutch born midfielder has become a growing influence in the Super Lig and was the subject of a £10m bid from Roma last summer.
Ozyakup signed a second Besiktas contract in 2014 which runs until June 2018 and is modestly paid on his current deal.
It’s unlikely that the Turkish side will be able to match the terms on offer from Spurs who would like to add to their midfield amid rumours that some serious bids will come in for Deli Alli at the end of the season.
