Spurs have stepped up their interest in Sead Kolasinac.
According to a report on talkSPORT the defender has been offered a £5m/year deal to move to White Hart Lane.
Kolasinac is out of contract at the end of this season and is likely to be one of the most in-demand defenders in the game.
Despite being out of contract Schalke 04 have had no concerns about selecting the 23-year-old who is also a regular in the Bosnia national side.
Spurs have been tracking Kolasinac for almost a year and have made their offer in the full knowledge that other Premier League sides are keen on the defender.
Everton and Chelsea have been linked with the defender but Spurs are confident that their reputation under Mauricio Pochettino of building around younger players will impress the Schalke man.
Kolasinac is in his fifth season in the Schalke first team and has come through the ranks at the club despite playing his international football for Bosnia.
