Manchester United are planning a summer swoop for Kurt Zouma.
According to a report in The Sun Jose Mourinho wants to be reunited with the Chelsea defender at Old Trafford as he reshapes the United squad.
Zouma has been left on the outside looking in as Antonio Conte has put together a side that is odds on to clinch the Premier League title.
Mourinho is unhappy with a number of his central defensive options and wants to bring in the 22-year-old to give him increased options with the opportunity there to become a first team regular.
Chelsea paid St Etienne £12.5m for the powerful defender in 2014 and will look to recoup that fee despite Zouma being out of their first team plans.
Conte is also looking to strengthen his defensive options in the summer but there’s no sign that he is looking to bring the Frenchman into his top team plans.
