Manchester United will turn to Jan Oblak if they are unable to hold on to David de Gea.

According to a report in The Sun, United will again turn to Atletico Madrid for a keeper with Oblak stepping up to replace Thibaut Courtois when he returned to Chelsea.

Real Madrid have never given up on their ambitions to sign de Gea and have kept sending out the signals to the 26-year-old who moved to Old Trafford in 2011.

De Gea has never appeared overly committed to Manchester United which has encouraged Real that he could be encouraged to return to the Spanish capital.

United are used to the speculation over their keeper and believe that Oblak would be a ready made replacement.

With international experience for Slovenia to back up two seasons at Atletico which includes regular Champions League experience the 24-year-old has a similar profile to de Gea although keeping hold of the Spaniard is United’s priority.
