Liverpool won’t be pushing Emre Can out of Anfield.
According to a report in the Daily Telegraph Jurgen Klopp won’t be imposing any deadlines on the midfielder to sign a new contract.
The 23-year-old is under contract until June 2018 with no signs of a breakthrough on a new deal.
Can denied claims that he was trying to treble his wages to £100,000/week with the player and his manager hoping that a deal can soon be agreed.
Klopp is a big fan of the former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder and won’t be dropping the player in order to prove a point at the negotiating table.
Juventus have been linked with a love for Can who is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with a non-English club from January 2018.
Can is now in his third season at Anfield and made his 36th Liverpool appearance of the season in Sunday’s 1-0 win away to West Brom.
