Chelsea are set to bid for Benjamin Mendy.
According to a report in The Mirror, the Monaco left-back will be the subject of a £25m bid from Chelsea in the summer as Antonio Conte reshapes his defence.
Mendy joined Monaco last summer from Marseille in a £13m deal and has been a big part of the French side’s impressive Champions League run.
Monaco are expected to be under siege with offers at the end of the season for almost all of the squad that has already accounted for Spurs and Manchester City.
Liverpool and City have already been linked with Mendy with both clubs struggling to fill the left-back position.
Chelsea are confident that their offer plus the lure of living in London can convince the 22-year-old to sign up to work with Antonio Conte.
Southampton’s Ryan Bertrand has also been watched by Chelsea with Conte determined to hit the ground running for next season’s Champions League campaign.
