Cesc Fanregas is a close season target for Besiktas.

According to a report on talkSPORT the Chelsea midfielder was watched by the Turkish giants during Saturday’s 2-1 defeat from Crystal Palace.

Fabregas has slipped down the pecking order under Antonio Conte and is likely to leave Chelsea in the summer as the Italian manager prepares to bring in more new faces.

Galatasaray have already been linked with the Spanish internationalist but could now lose out to their big rivals whose president, Fikret Orman flew into London at the weekend to watch the match against Palace.

Chelsea are in no rush to lose the midfielder but if an offer of over £20m is tabled they are likely to sell the man that they signed from Barcelona in 2014.

Fabregas has got offers to play in China but feels that he can still play at the highest level in Europe where he has also been linked with AC Milan.

With lots of interest it seems certain that his Chelsea days are over with this season’s title party acting as his farewell to the club.
