AC Milan are still hopeful of signing Sead Kolasinac.
According to a report on Football Italia the Italian giants are still hopeful of a deal despite claims last week that the Schalke defender had signed a pre-contract agreement to go to Arsenal. Crucially Arsenal have made no comment on the claim.
Kolasinac is out of contract at the end of the season but his father went on German television to deny reports that the 23-year-old had signed for Arsenal.
AC Milan have recently had a heavy investment and are determined to regain former glories and challenge Juventus for next season’s title.
Kolasinac’s strong defensive skills would be ideal for the Italian game with Milan keen to get next season’s side in place as soon as possible.
If the defender has still to agree a move for next season Chelsea could be back in contention after having a £5m offer rejected in January.
