Brighton are expected to bid for Joel Campbell.
According to a report on talkSPORT the Arsenal striker is among the targets being eyed up by the newly promoted Premier League side.
Campbell is currently on loan at Sporting Lisbon but after a promising start the Portuguese side won’t be taking up the option to sign the striker.
That’s unlikely to put Brighton off with the striker fitting the profile of the type of player that Chris Hughton wants to bring in for his side’s first season in the Premier League.
With Brighton securing promotion early and being favourites to go up since the turn of the year Hughton has been making advance plans for next season.
Campbell is under contract until June 2018 with Arsenal looking to sell for around £10m before his contract expires.
Sporting is Campbell’s fifth loan since joining Arsenal in 2011 where he has only started 11 Premier League matches, scoring three goals.
