Tom Cleverley is one appearance away from making his move to Watford permanent.
According to a report in the Watford Observer the midfielder will become a Watford player once he makes his ninth appearance with his seventh game for the club coming in the defeat at Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Cleverley is in his second loan spell at the club and has regained his best form since switching to Vicarage Road in January.
Despite Watford’s stumbling form the midfielder has been an impressive exception in the side after being told by Ronald Koeman that his prospects were extremely limited at Everton.
No details have been revealed about a transfer fee or the length of the contract but the 27-year-old is under contract with Everton until 2020.
Koeman is determined to overhaul the squad that he inherited from Roberto Martinez with few of the Spaniard’s players expected to survive the close season.
