Crystal Palace are setting up an end of season move for Ivan Strinic.

According to a report on talkSPORT the Napoli defender is likely to move on at the end of the season with Sam Allardyce keen to bring him to Selhurst Park.

Allardyce has been a long term admirer of the Croatian and tried to sign him for West Ham from Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in 2014.

After a frustrating transfer window in January the Palace boss is leaving nothing to chance and is determined to start next season on the front foot.

Getting a stable defence is central to those plans with Strinic’s straightforward style of defending exactly what Allardyce expects from his back four.

After three seasons on the fringes of the Napoli side it’s believed that the 29-year-old will jump at the chance of a move to England with Palace looking to push themselves into the top half of the Premier League.
