Thibaut Courtois has handed Chelsea a boost by ruling out a summer switch to Real Madrid.

According to a report in The Standard the keeper is concentrating on clinching the Premier League title and preparing to return to the Champions League.

Courtois has been in magnificent form this season, adapting quickly to Antonio Conte’s style of management and putting the problems of last season into the past.

Real Madrid are in the market for a new keeper and have been linked with the former Atletico stopper on and off down the years.

Zinedine Zidane has been looking for a replacement to Keylor Navas with Courtois, David de Gea and Hugo Lloris among the options.

With Courtois ruling out a move speculation will switch back to de Gea who almost moved to Real in 2015.

Chelsea are keen to get Courtois onto a new contract although his current deal runs until June 2019.
