Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in Marco Asensio.
According to a report in the Daily Star the Real Madrid midfielder is a wanted man with Juventus also credited with an interest.
Asensio has made 15 top team appearances for Real this season after making a big impression last season on loan at Espanyol.
Opportunities are limited at the Bernabeu for Asensio with the prospect of a £40m offer from Liverpool or Arsenal likely to tempt the Real board.
With Eden Hazard a signing target for Real the chances are that Asensio’s opportunities will be more limited next season.
Another loan deal would seem like a good option for the 21-year-old but with two full caps for Spain and serious interest from elsewhere Real have to decide whether to make space in their side or sell a current internationalist.
If either Liverpool or Arsenal can win a Champions League slot a bid for Asensio is likely to be a transfer priority.
