Michael Keane has admitted that he is flattered by speculation linking him to Liverpool and Everton.

According to an interview in the Daily Mail the newly capped England defender has no qualms about a move to Merseyside just three years after leaving Manchester United.

Keane has been in outstanding form this season, starting in every Premier League match this season, as Burnley get to within touching distance of staying up at the third time of asking.

With quality central defenders in short supply Keane’s form has been noted by a number of top clubs.

Burnley’s success is likely to come at a cost with Keane among a number of players out of contract in the summer of 2018.

Everton were thought to be favourites to sign the 24-year-old but with Liverpool interested the fee could go over the £30m mark as Sean Dych prepares for a major overhaul of players during the summer.
