Just days after being linked with Ronald Koeman Barcelona are believed to be considering a move for Jurgen Klopp.
According to a report in The Mirror, the Liverpool boss is interesting Barca following their 4-0 defeat from Paris St Germain in the Champions League.
The result has put the future of Luis Enrique in doubt with Barca uncomfortable about facing a Champions League exit at the last 16 stage.
Klopp has recently been going through a difficult time at Liverpool but his stock remains high on the continent after his exploits with Borussia Dortmund.
Given a ready made squad Barca believe that the charismatic German boss has the strength to make his mark on the club without compromising their ethos.
Klopp’s belief in attacking football and youth development fits in easily with the Barca DNA.
Liverpool wouldn’t give up on Klopp without a fight but as they showed with Luis Suarez when Barca come calling they tend to get what they are looking for.
