West Brom striker Salomon Rondon isn’t for sale at any price.

According to a report in the Birmingham Mail, Albion chairman John Williams issued the message to fend off Chinese interest ahead of their transfer window closing.

Tianjin Quanjian, who are also after Diego Costa, had a £32m offer for Rondon rejected last month with English clubs vulnerable to offers from the Chinese Super League.

Albion were keen on signing Odion Ighalo from Watford but couldn’t match up with the £20m offer from Changchun Yatai or the terms offered to the striker.

Despite flying high in the Premier League Albion are short on striking options with Rondon their top scorer on just seven goals.

Gareth McAuley is the second top scorer in the Premier League with six goals so far with manager Tony Pulis looking to add to his squad rather than sell with a new striker to help out Rondon the priority.
