Daley Blind will be one of the first big names out of Manchester United when Jose Mourinho starts his summer clear out.

According to a report in The Sun the defender will make way for Victor Lindelof when the Benfica defender finally arrives at Old Trafford in the summer.

Blind is out of contract next summer with no talks scheduled with the defender who joined from Ajax in 2014 in a £14m deal.

Reshaping the United defence is a priority for Mourinho who resisted switching to other transfer targets as talks stalled for Lindelof.

Last week there were reports that a pre-contract agreement had been completed to bring the Swede to Old Trafford to compete for a place in central defence.

Blind has started 15 Premier League games this season but is aware that his prospects are slim once Mourinho completes his transfer activities.

Arsenal have been linked with the former Ajax defender but until the future of Arsene Wenger is resolved they are unlikely to be making any transfer commitments.
