Everton will join Manchester City and Manchester United in the bidding for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain when the transfer window opens.

According to a report in The Sun all three clubs are prepared to shell out £30m despite the England man entering the last year of his contract.

On the park Oxlade-Chamberlain has slipped down the pecking order at Arsenal, off it the club doesn’t seem to be in any rush to renew his contract which expires in June 2018.

While Manchester United and Manchester City could offer the Ox the likelihood of Champions League football Everton would be more likely to offer regular first team football.

Ronald Koeman has been given the funds to completely revive Everton but has struggled to convince big name players to buy into his Goodison project.

Offering the Ox the chance to play in his preferred central midfield role as part of a new look Everton side would hold appeal to a 23-year-old who has only started 10 Premier League matches this season.
