AC Milan set to put in massive bid for Lukaku

AC Milan are preparing to lure Romelu Lukaku to Serie A.

According to a report in the Daily Star the Italian side have made the Everton striker their number one signing target for a summer transfer fund of £140m.

For over three months Everton have been in talks to extend Lukaku’s Goodison contract which runs until the summer of 2019.

A return to Chelsea has been a constant rumour with the delay in signing a new deal adding substance to claims that the striker is restless over Everton’s lack of success.

Everton paid Chelsea £28m for the striker in 2014 and could expect to double their money by selling the Belgian internationalist.

Ronald Koeman has struggled to attract new faces to Goodison Park and has no intention of letting one of his best players quit the club.

However if a new deal can’t be sorted by the summer it’ll be difficult to resist a big money offer for a player who doesn’t see his future being at Everton.
