AC Milan are keen to attract Lucas Perez to Serie A.
The striker has struggled to make the breakthrough since moving to Arsenal but is still highly rated from his exploits with Deportivo de la Coruna according to talkSPORT.
Arsenal matched the £17.1m get out clause in his Deportivo contract but apart from a Champions League hat-trick away to Basel in December the striker has failed to make an impact.
Arsene Wenger was hoping to get a rival to Alexis Sanchez when he signed Perez but so far the 28-year-old has only started two Premier League matches and made a further eight appearances as a substitute.
AC Milan were impressed by Perez’s 18 goal haul for Deportivo last season and haven’t been put off by his indifferent form at The Emirates.
With a smaller top team squad the Italian side would be able to offer Perez greater first team opportunities and are hopeful that business can be done by repaying Arsenal the £17.1m that they paid out for Perez.
