Arsenal will need to improve on their £56m bid for Andrea Belotti if they want to sign the striker.
According to a report in the Daily Mail Torino have told the Gunners that €65m/£56m isn’t enough for the striker.
With telly money flooding through the English game continental sides are determined to get their hands on as much money as possible for supplying players.
Arsenal have been notoriously cautious in the past with transfer fees but that changed with the deals that brought Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez to the club.
Now Arsenal have to renew the contracts of those players or look elsewhere with Belotti a possible replacement for Sanchez.
Talks to resign the striker have been complicated by claims that Sanchez is frustrated by Arsenal’s failure to challenge for major trophies.
With his contract expiring in June 2018 Arsenal need to get a decision from Sanchez before the end of the season.
