Chelsea make their move for West Ham ace

Chelsea have expressed an interest in Michail Antonio.

According to a report in The Sun Antonio Conte has been keeping tabs on Antonio since West Ham knocked Chelsea out of the EFL Cup in November.

Conte is keen to bring in more firepower during the January transfer window and has expressed an interest in a number of players.

West Ham are determined to hang onto their best players while bringing in more quality to ensure that there is no prospect of relegation at the end of their first season at the London Stadium.

Antonio has scored eight Premier League goals mainly playing in midfield but can fill in at a number of different positions which has impressed Chelsea.

The 26-year-old was a £7m signing from Nottingham Forest 18 months ago but it would take almost four times that amount to get Slaven Bilic to consider parting with his leading league scorer.
