Thomas Muller has opened the door to a shock move to Manchester United by hitting out at his treatment from Bayern Munich.
According to a report in The Sun the 27-year-old is deeply unhappy at his lack of game time under Carlos Ancelotti at Bayern Munich.
Speaking about his regular place as a substitute Muller said: “Of course, I’m not sitting there with a grin on the bench.”
Manchester United have a long standing interest in the striker who is very much second choice behind Robert Lewandowski in the Bayern attack.
Jose Mourinho has been linked with a number of strikers in recent weeks with Antoine Griezmann of Atletico Madrid the number one target.
The possible availability of Muller could be a game changer however with Mourinho looking to bring in a top quality striker to compete with and play alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Bayern would prefer to retain the striker but could cash in if a bid in the regio of £50m comes in for the out of favour striker.
